This factory box contains 24 unopened, 1988 Topps rack packs with 42 base cards and 1 All-Star subset card for a total of 43 cards per rack pack and 1,032 cards total in the box. There are 792 base cards in the set so it's possible, although unlikely, that you could compile an entire set from the cards contained in this box of 24 rack packs. Each rack pack has three sections of sealed cards which hold the cards securely for a "pack fresh" set of un-searched, vintage cards. As always, Topps peppered their massive base set of 792 cards with plenty of rookies who turned out to be good players like Ellis Burks, Ken Caminiti, Tom Glavine (HOF), and Matt Williams. Cards in these packs may also include Hall of Famers like Nolan Ryan, George Brett, Ozzie Smith, Kirby Puckett, Barry Larkin, Cal Ripken Jr, Greg Maddux, Wade Boggs, Robin Yount, Rickey Henderson, and many others! There's also several notable errors and variations of cards from the 1988 Topps Baseball print run which may be found within these packs. More about 1988 Topps Baseball... This set consists of 792 standard-size cards. Card fronts feature white borders encasing a color photo with team name running across the top and player name diagonally across the bottom. Subsets include Record Breakers (1-7), All-Stars (386-407), Turn Back the Clock (661-665), and Team Leaders (scattered throughout the set). The manager cards contain a team checklist on back. The key Rookie Cards in this set are Ellis Burks, Ken Caminiti, Tom Glavine, and Matt Williams.
